1. Trocadéro esplanade
The postcard shot: the whole tower, centred, from a raised terrace across the Seine. At sunrise the light is soft and the esplanade is almost empty. By mid-morning, hundreds of people and street sellers fill the frame, and your photographer will spend the session cropping them out.
2. Jardins du Trocadéro
Just below the esplanade, the gardens frame the tower with trees and the fountains of the Warsaw basin. More variety than the esplanade, fewer people, and good for couples and families who want greenery.
3. Pont de Bir-Hakeim
A two-level bridge with metro line 6 running on top. The central walkway under the iron colonnade gives strong perspective lines, with the tower on the side. It is one of the most « editorial » spots near the tower and popular for fashion shoots.
4. Rue de l’Université
The tower appears huge at the end of a Haussmann street — one of the most shared angles on social media. It is a residential street with traffic: shots are quick, from the pavement or a crossing, and photographers wait for gaps between cars. Early morning is by far the easiest.
5. Avenue de Camoëns
A short, quiet avenue in the 16th ending in a balustrade and steps overlooking the Seine and the tower. Less known, calmer, with an elegant stone foreground.
6. Passerelle Debilly
A pedestrian footbridge between the Trocadéro side and the Quai Branly. The river gives depth and reflections at golden hour; the tower sits to the side.
7. Pont d’Iéna
The bridge leading straight to the tower. Great symmetry at sunrise, but it becomes a busy crossing during the day, with traffic and pedestrians.
8. Champ de Mars
The long park behind the tower, where you shoot looking up at it. Best in the evening, especially for relaxed family photos — and at night for the lights.

Spots at night
After dark, the tower is lit in gold and sparkles for five minutes at the start of every hour until the lights go off (around midnight, later in summer). The Trocadéro, Pont d’Iéna and Champ de Mars are the easiest spots to capture the sparkle. Plan the session so that it overlaps with an hour mark.
